Student Assistant — Humanmade Catastrophes

You are student (m/w/d) with a knack for content creation, video editing and/or have experience in homepage support and webdesign? Join our team and help us spread our knowledge about "what can go wrong"!

Tasks:

• You will record and edit videos about human made catastrophes and accidents for YouTube.
• You will help us set up  a homepage for the lecture, write and edit blogposts with the students and upload material
• You will help to reach out to the public about human-made accidents and catastrophes, and help to prepare social-media posts
• You will support the students in the module with technical questions

Requirements:

• Skills in video editing and/or webdesign
• Proficiency in German, written and spoken, in order to edit German texts
• Reliability and thoroughness

Desirable:

• Basic knowledge in chemistry/biochemistry/physics
• Experience with YouTube and/or Wordpress

Students with previous experience in any of the above tasks are encouraged to apply. You will be supported in your tasks by the rest of the team. Enthusiasm and communication skills are mandatory. You need to be enrolled as a student in any German University ("Hochschule"). The salary is approximately 12-14 €/hour.
