Luise is a B.Sc. student in biochemistry at the University of Würzburg and joined Thorn Lab during the first Corona lockdown.

She did her bachelor's thesis with Thorn Lab, where she learned programming with Python and worked on the implementation of a GUI for our machine learning tool HARUSPEX in Coot.

For Thorn Lab, she mainly uses her biochemical knowledge for literature research, blog posts, structure descriptions and searching for the best visualizations of the virus. However, she is also involved in outreach tasks like corresponding with media representatives and helps out wherever she can.
