Jan is studying physics (M.Sc.) and works as a research assistant for Thorn Lab. He is a machine learning enthusiast and during his bachelor thesis he worked on machine learning in particle physics to accelerate particle simulations. Additionally, Jan leads school classes in physics experimentation at the DESY-Schülerlabor. In his free time, he loves working with wood and crafts his own furniture. His favorite means of transportation is his bicycle.
