Philipp Wehling - Student of Nanoscience (B.Sc.) bei Institute for Nanostructure and Solid-State Physics, Hamburg University
Student of Nanoscience (B.Sc.)

Philip has long had an enthusiasm for biological processes which is paired with an analytical understanding of the world. After having worked for a long time as a registered nurse in various fields, he first studied mathematics and finally nanosciences.

During a lecture series in preparation for a bachelor's thesis, he came into contact with protein crystallography and is now starting to delve deeper into this fascinating research area as a member of the Thorn Lab.

In his bachelor's thesis, which he is currently working on, he researches the influence of organic solvents in crystallographic structure determination.
